Xero Sampler Tape (1997)



Xero fue la primera maqueta (Demo) de la banda
de Nu Metal/Rapcore, Linkin Park, que en ese
tiempo se llamaba Xero. La banda estaba compuesta
por Mike Shinoda, Rob Bourdon, Joe Hahn, Brad Delson,
Dave Farrell y Mark Wakefield, este ultimo
fue reemplazado después de la grabación del
demo por Chester Bennington.

Hybrid Theory EP  (1999)


Hybrid Theory EP es un EP de la banda de Nu Metal,
Linkin Park (en esos momentos llamado Hybrid Theory)
lanzado en 1999. Cronológicamente, es el primer
álbum de la banda. Sólo fueron vendidas 1.000 copias,
de las cuales algunas fueron enviadas a Warner
Brothers.    La portada del disco, en la que sale un
feto con el cordón umbilical, está hecha y dibujada
por el cantante Mike Shinoda, también productor del disco.

 Hybrid Theory (2001)



Hybrid Theory es el primer álbum del grupo de
nu metal Linkin Park, lanzado a la venta el 24
de octubre de 2000.    En el año 2001, este álbum
fue el mejor vendido en Estados Unidos. Es además,
el álbum debut que más copias ha vendido en el
siglo XXI, con 20 millones de compras a nivel
mundial. La RIAA lo certificó como Diamante
(10 veces Platino) en Estados Unidos.
Es notoria la falta de lenguaje soez, común en
el género nu metal.    El nombre Hybrid Theory
era originalmente el de la banda. Luego de problemas
con derechos de autor con una banda inglesa l
lamada Hybrid, el nombre se convirtió en Lincoln Park,
y poco después distorsionado a Linkin Park. Recordando
sus inicios, el álbum conserva el nombre original.

Reanimation (2002)



Reanimation es un mezcla de sonidos generados en
el primer álbum de Linkin Park, Hybrid Theory. Grabado
durante la gira del 2001, contiene canciones
modificadas de su primer álbum y de su material EP. El
nombre de las canciones proviene de un juego de palabras
hecho con los nombres originales de las canciones.
Por ejemplo (el primer nombre es el nombre de la
canción original; el segundo nombre es el nombre de
la mezcla de Reanimation): Points of Authority
- Pts Of Athrty; Crawling - Krwlng...

Meteora (2003)




El disco tiene 13 canciones con un estilo que les
diferencia del resto y les hace únicos a la hora de
cantar, alternando canciones con mucho ritmo y
otras mas tranquilas, pero todas con una letras
cargadas de sentimientos.    Una vez mas, se van
dividiendo a la hora de cantar entre Chester,
(dándole un toque mas tranquilo y melódico, y a
la vez cañero) y Mike ( que le da el toque rapero al

Minutes To Midnight (2007)


Contiene 12 canciones y demuestra un cambio
considerable en el estilo del grupo. La canción
«The Little Things Give You Away» es una clara
referencia al huracán Katrina, que envistió a
New Orleans en 2005, y el significado del texto
ha sido confirmado por los mismos miembros del grupo.
La banda propone un nuevo estilo bastante diverso
y los mensajes de las canciones son más humanos.
Sus estilos són principalmente rock alternativo,
metal alternativo y con pequeñas influencias al nu
metal. Rompe mucho con sus dos trabajos anteriores
(Hybrid Theory y Meteora), por lo que a una parte
de los fans del grupo les decepcionó un poco,
además de vender menos discos que sus anteriores trabajos.
